How to Use Kudos

Anyone do something good for you or others? Make a difference by giving them Kudos!


Kudos Overview

Who DOESN’T like to be appreciated?  We all do, right?  “Kudos” is a powerful feature for saying “thank you” and recognizing the great things people and organizations do each day or whenever.  It’s a simple enough thing, but saying “thank you” is one of the great marks of a leader and will develop relationships in ways that few other things will!


How It Works

1. To give Kudos, you need to click on an Individual or Organization profile.

2. Find their Kudos section and click on “Add”.

3. Create a Title.

4. Type or copy and paste the thoughts you want to share.

5. Click Save!

6. The recipient is sent a message and given the opportunity to accept or deny your Kudos so say nice things!

Tips for Use
  • Make sure you “Share” your Kudos post with all of your friends and groups and “Broadcast Online” to your favorite social media sites.  This will give the person or organization more recognition and draw more people to your Community 2.0™ Website.
  • Say “thank you” for everything!   Whenever you have an event, make sure you give out lots of Kudos!
  • Encourage your managers, employees and volunteers to develop the habit of giving Kudos.
  • Give Kudos to businesses and organizations you interact with . . . it DOES make a difference!
  • Ask other organizations with Community 2.0™ Websites to follow you so your posts can instantly reach their people and organizations.
